"I wish to thank-you for your development of such a terrific portable device- – -the VENOWAVE. After receiving my own unit this summer, I experimented with keeping the device on or off my right leg which has severely tortuous varicose veins, especially around my right ankle. I am a healthy 57 yr old dentist who often needs to carry out procedures standing up for long periods of time… Wearing support hose had been extremely uncomfortable because the stockings are not breathable, and feel very hot. (those in range of 30 – 50mm compression). When I wore the Venowave, however, the leg and ankle swelling was non-existent after about 15 minutes. There was NO PAIN in my right ankle. . . something I had often attributed to arthritic changes, rather than venous pooling. I had also been a concert pianist, cross-country skier, and cyclist – -so the wear and tear on my right leg has been extensive. Varicose vein surgery alternatives have been discussed with me in the past, but even with the many options available, none can guarantee future comfort, and many may create more troubles in the long term. A non-surgical option has always been my desire.
When I left the Venowave off for several days (instead of wearing it intermittently during most daytime movement at work or at home while standing), I noticed that the swelling and severe pain returned with a vengeance! Happily, when the Venowave was put back on, the problems resolved very quickly.

I have shown this device to many patients, staff, and friends…. Several have purchased one for themselves already, with splendid reports… A drug-free, patient-controlled, portable, convenient, and easily wearable device such as the VENOWAVE is indeed a remarkable tribute to your ingenuity and engineering skills."
